Is Parenting Really for You?
Art Linkletter once had a program called "Kids Say the Darndest Things" that made audiences howl with laughter. As we reminisced about our own eight children and their crazy antics, we did the same. We entertained many with our stories and decided that it was time to share the laughter with others. Is Parenting Really for You evolved as we were trying to find an appropriate wedding gift for my 56-year old bachelor brother who was about to take the plunge. Needless to say, it evoked the same laughter as he remembered many of the incidents, and his bride gained a greater insight into the family to which she had married.

These eight cousins now have a few grandchildren, so they obviously survived the numerous pranks, devilish actions, and daring deeds of the past such as climbing down the clothes chute and hanging on for dear life at three years old, two siblings who knocked out the bedroom screen and crawled out to play on the roof, numerous hospital visits, and four cousins who had the greatest fun playing with fecal matter as children seem to do at least once in their lives. Aunt Laura somehow survived each of these pregnancies despite the many misadventures and Uncle Robert no longer has to worry about what situations complicate his arrival after work. All of these incidents are true and none have been embellished. Join us for a trip down Memory Lane and remember some of your own experiences as a child or a parent.
